The wood cutouts

1970, the first painted wood cutouts. These are authentic form in space, invested with a real autonomy, free from supports and framework. on the wall which supports them. They project solid drop shadows produced by the incidental ambient lighting. The new arrangement created by the initial form and the generated shadow refer to an augmented reading, a new work. The space thus invested by the resulting shadows refers to the vision of its double reality, but this form takes shape differently, on the same plane.
