From 1985 to 1998, he works on the series of Themes in transparency, exhibited several times at the Michel Broonhead Gallery and at Le Chanjour Gallery.

Alain Satié superimposes a multiplication of mediated paintings through an outlandish technicity, again referring to an anthological conception of art presented in an original ordering. Through its force and knowledge it is capable of opening up multiple beauties which the art of super-writing has rarely achieved.
