As soon as he joined the Lettrist movement, Alain Satié sought an original pathway in the art of photography, looking for an innovation extension. Thus he reduced the boundary between photography and visual arts or in other words he makes the photographic document into a visual art form. He goes beyond standard photography through enhancement by various means, from a personalized visual richness, and in that way he applies his fundamental directions to validating the Lettrist concepts in other disciplines.
